Duramen is the Latin term used for the part of wood through which sap no longer flows. This is the most precious part of the wood and is used for all solid wood constructions. Duramen is also known as “perfect wood.”
After my studies, and after traveling around the world, I found my way to a carpentry school in Brussels. There, I learned the basics of the woodworking trade and discovered my love for wood. After spending a few years at that school, I decided to start my own business – a new adventure!
Since 2013, I have been working as a carpenter/timber framer throughout Belgium.
My specialization lies in the traditional techniques of the carpentry trade: mortise and tenon joints and timber framing ensure robust and high-quality work!
