Ecology and sustainability

Of all building materials, only wood regenerates naturally. Wood framing is therefore, by its very nature, one of the most energy- and resource-efficient options. Furthermore, reducing the number of people involved also greatly limits the ecological cost of these buildings.

Load capacity

The load-bearing walls are 10 cm thick and can be used for buildings up to five storeys high. Thanks to this slimline construction, you gain extra square metres of usable interior space.

Excellent insulation and energy efficient

The 10 cm thick walls add significant mass to your building. This guarantees thermal and acoustic insulation, ensuring lasting coolness in summer and retaining heat in winter. This saves an average of 2 cm of insulation thickness, freeing up additional interior space.

Air tightness

Our timber frame constructions are almost 100% airtight because they are made up of large panels, which reduces the number of joints. These joints are carefully sealed. This is the basis for a perfectly airtight house. You will achieve excellent results in the blower door test.

Excellent acoustics

The mass of MagnumBoard™ construction provides exceptional acoustic quality and very little sound transmission. As a result, it performs better than a traditional house.

Fire safety

The fire resistance of a standard MagnumBoard™ wall is EI 30. By adjusting the thickness and/or covering it with technical wall panels, it is possible to achieve up to EI 120 (2 hours).

Integrated reservations for technical services

All reservations for technical installations are already planned in the panels. This avoids any additional cutting or demolition work. In addition, technical installations can be carried out more quickly and with greater precision.

Simple interior finish

Thanks to the fine sanding of the walls, they can be finished directly with a roller or spray coating. This is a simple operation (max. thickness 1 mm) at low cost and with minimal drying time. A plasterboard covering, as in other timber construction methods, is not necessary.

Architectural freedom

MagnumBoard™ panels are highly flexible and can be easily shaped and adapted to various architectural designs. They can be used in different ways for walls, arches, roofs and staircases, allowing you to build your entire home with the same material.

Pleasant indoor climate

Wood naturally regulates humidity. It can absorb and release moisture into the environment, making it easier to maintain a comfortable indoor climate without it becoming too humid or too dry.
